ProGroup started providing software for chiropractors in 1985, originally as Chiropractic Resource Group (sometimes known as CRG). Then changed to Professional Resource Group, in recognition of clients in other health fields. Finally, the name was shortened for convenience to ProGroup.
From the beginning, this software has excelled in function, reliability and support.
The original software was Practice Star and provided premier practice management. It was discovered that not all offices wanted that much software control, or wanted a less expensive solution. As a result, a family of software was completely redesigned and written.
Easy Start was designed to be an entry level (ie inexpensive) program, duplicating the manual pegboard.
Active Partner is a step up in price and was designed to be powerful and flexible so that the office could manage the software.
ProManager took the place of Practice Star and was designed to manage the practice.
